Central Valley Scholastic Chess Association

The Central Valley Scholastic Chess Association (CVSCA) is an organization dedicated to the advancement of scholastic chess in the San Joaquin valley. The tournaments are run by the individual school chess clubs, in cooperation with other Valley chess programs in cities such as Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, Farmersville, Hanford and Coalinga.
We are committed to continuing chess tournaments for students of the Central Valley and proudly announce our schedule for online tournaments for Summer 2022. We will be announcing the Fall semester 2022 schedule in late August

Summer 2022 scholastic chess tournament schedule. All tournaments will be online on Chess.com. The student will need to be registered under the Central Valley Scholastic Chess Association club on Chess.com. Tournaments begin 9am on the following dates: 6/11, 6/25, 7/9, 7/23, 8/6, and 8/20. Registration for each tournament begins 1 hour prior to tournament start time
